Art and Psychology

Sharing Art is my profession and my existence.

My profession lies between Art and Science. I want to pass on and reveal what art truly means, what can no longer be grasped in words and sound, yet merges universally into the essence of being human.

First, I studied in Holland Psychology. 2019 I graduated with an International Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands. For a year I also continued studying at the The Royal Academy of Art The Hague. I continued my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg in Bavaria and graduated 2023 with the State Exam in art and art pedagogy. Currently I am working as an artist and State art teacher, living in Bavaria.

Scholarships
During my studies I was supported by three scholarships: The Kölner Gymnasial-und Stuftungsofnds in Cologne, The Cusanuswerk in Bonn, and the Hans-Rudolf-Stiftung in Munich.

A selection of my works are currently shown in Cologne at the head quarters of the Kölner Gymnasial-and Stiftungsfonds. Personal note: Thank you, it is an honor, still.

My focus lies on lithography.

Lithography is an old printing technique invented in the late 18th century. It’s my mission to preserve and carry on this technique.

In my work drawing, painting, the  body, movement, and stone come together, becoming a dialogue.

Lithography is part of Germany’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, recognized by the German UNESCO Commission. It works on the principle that water and oil repel each other. An image is drawn onto a limestone surface using an oil-based ink or crayon. The stone is then moistened—while the drawn areas attract the printing ink, the wet areas repel it. This process creates detailed and unique prints. Lithography is often used for artistic works and high-quality prints.

Further works combine print, photography analogue and digital, drawings and paintings together.  Videos underlie my work. Mainly my works are two dimensional.
